HOLYNESS

Scriptures: 1Peter 1:13-24, Psalm 1:1-6, Hebrews 12:14 1Peter 1:14-16 

"As obedient children, do not be conformed to the former desires of your ignorance; but as He who called you is holy, so be holy yourselves in all your conduct; for it is written, You shall be holy, for I am holy." 

Holiness is to leave the world and serve your God, verse 15, God calls you to be holy and to leave the former conduct, the conduct of sin. Live a life that God accepts which is of holiness. In verse 17 it says to walk with fear during the time we spend on this earth, here on earth we pass through your home is in heaven where we cannot reach without that Holiness, You must be holy. 

Examine your conduct now, when you enter and exit the conduct of your life, how is it? Return to the Lord today. Here on earth we are transient, we will not stay forever on earth, so prepare the place where you are going. In verse 23 it says you have been born again of incorruptible seed and that seed is Jesus Christ. In Psalm 1:1- A holy person is compared to a tree by the streams of water that does not wither and bears fruit in its season. If you see that you are sitting more in the councils of mockers, know that the Holy Spirit has left. When you are in Jesus, you become a new creation, the old has passed away. 

We should be holy as Jesus is holy. You try to do many things but you are not successful because you are not holy, there are people who sin very secretly, such a life will be ashamed one day because God will expose you in public because God is against sin, now why be ashamed why don't you return to God with all your heart. The evil you have cannot hide from God, repent now! Hebrews 12:14 "Pursue peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord;" Psalm 24:3-5 "Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? Who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands and a pure heart, 

Who hath not lifted up his soul in vain, Nor sworn deceitfully: He shall receive blessing from the Lord, And righteousness from the God of his salvation." Nothing that is weak shall enter heaven in your life, your conduct must change, let us return to God with repentance, today if the Lord Jesus returns and finds you, why have you not repented, why should you enter into the loss of remaining?, The Lord Jesus is returning at any hour, will you go when he returns? 

Do you have the qualifications to go with Jesus Christ? Repent now..

1Petro 1:14-16 "Kama watoto wa kutii msijifananishe na tamaa zenu za kwanza za ujinga wenu; bali kama yeye aliyewaita alivyo mtakatifu, ninyi nanyi iweni watakatifu katika mwenendo wenu wote; kwa maana imeandikwa, Mtakuwa watakatifu kwa kuwa mimi ni mtakatifu."

Utakatifu ni kuiacha dunia na kumtumikia Mungu wako, mstari wa 15, Mungu anakuita uwe mtakatifu uachane na mwenendo wa mwanzo, mwenendo wa dhambi. Ishi maisha ambayo Mungu anayakubali ambayo ni ya utakatifu. Katika Mstari wa 17 inasema tutembee kwa hofu katika wakati wa kukaa hapa duniani, hapa duniani tunapita nyumbani kwenu ni mbinguni ambapo hatuwezi fika bila huo Utakatifu, Yakupasa uwe mtakatifu.

Chunguza mwenendo wako sasa, unapoingia na kutoka mwenendo wa maisha yako upoje? Rudi kwa Bwana leo. Hapa duniani sisi ni wapitaji hatutakaa siku zote duniani, kwahiyo andaa sehemu unayoenda. Katika mstari wa 23 inasema umezaliwa mara ya pili kwa mbegu isiyoharibika na mbegu hiyo ni Yesu Kristo.

Katika Zaburi 1:1- Mtu mtakatifu amelinganishwa na mti ulio kando kandi ya vijito vya maji ambao haukauki na uzaao kwa majira yake. Ukiona unakaa zaidi kwenye mabaraza ya wenye mizaha ujue Roho Mtakatifu ameondoka. Ukiwa ndani ya Yesu, Unakuwa kiumbe kipya ya kale yamepita. Inapaswa tuwe matakatifu kama Yesu alivyo mtakatifu

Unajitaidi mambo mengi lakini hufanikiwi kwasababu ya sio mtakatifu, wako watu wanafanya dhambi kwa siri sana, maisha ya jinsi hiyo utaaibika siku moja maana Mungu atakuweka wazi adharani kwasababu Mungu yupo kinyume na dhambi, sasa kwanini uaibike kwanini usimrudie Mungu kwa moyo wote. Uovu ulionao huwezi kumficha Mungu, tubu sasa!

Waebrania 12:14 "Tafuteni kwa bidii kuwa na amani na watu wote, na huo utakatifu, ambao hapana mtu atakayemwona Bwana asipokuwa nao;"

Zaburi 24:3-5 "Ni nani atakayepanda katika mlima wa Bwana? Ni nani atakayesimama katika patakatifu pake? Mtu aliye na mikono safi na moyo mweupe, Asiyeiinua nafsi yake kwa ubatili, Wala hakuapa kwa hila. Atapokea baraka kwa Bwana, Na haki kwa Mungu wa wokovu wake."

Hakuna chochote kinyonge kitakachingia mbinguni maisha yako mwenendo wako lazima ubadilike, hebu mrudie Mungu kwa toba, leo hii kama Bwana Yesu akirudi akakukuta  hujatubu kwanini uingie kwenye hasara ya kubaki?, Bwana Yesu anarudi saa yoyote je akirudi utaenda? Je una sifa za kwenda na Yesu Kristo? Tubu sasa..
